Max Control Shampoo

Let it sit for 5–10 minutes, then rinse it out completely.

You can use your own shampoos and/or conditioners before or after applying this medication.

We recommend using this product three times a week — adjust based on your hair type and routine. Even once every two weeks helps; if applying once a week or less, let it sit on your scalp for 10 minutes.
The Essential Solution
Best applied at least once a day to areas where itching and dryness typically occur.

I have suffered with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp for 20 years (age 40-60). I have spent a ton of money on very high end products and low end products and everything in between. I have read all the reviews and been to several dermatologists. I live in Sarasota, Florida, and it is hot and humid for a big part of the year. I have been on prescription shampoos and creams for dry scales on my scalp and itching. It never really goes away, and many times products have heavy perfumes and tea tree oil that just make my skin worse. It's exasperating! It really affects your quality of life. I was just about to go to the doctor again to see my options for an oral prescription, which is really a last resort because as you get older, you may have to take other medications and all that takes a toll on your liver and kidneys. I was on Instagram and saw Allura Medicinals, and it caught my eye because it stated two dermatologists who drew on 20 years of experience were compounding a shampoo and solution duo. Prescription strength! I was excited because it sounded so good, but trying it would be the true test. I was blown away by the results. Nothing has ever worked this good before. It really exfoliates without irritation and controls itching. My biggest problem was trying not to use so much so fast and make it last. It has all these great ingredients that work wonders for seborrheic dermatitis (bad dandruff) but do not irritate my skin. Other products might have one, maybe two targeted ingredients that just do not work, but this product has like five or six prescription strength ingredients and nothing in it feels toxic to your skin. simple and effective products
I have been using many OTC and prescription products to help with my itchy and flaky scalp for several years, but recently, the products stopped working and my flakes returned. I came across Allura Medicinals during my research and saw that they offered a bundle shampoo and serum, so I figured I would give both products a try. Their shampoo pretty much simplified my scalp regimen to a single shampoo that does it all (and it smells great!). For me, I use the serum mainly on an as-needed basis since the shampoo has been working so well. My scalp has been flake free for several weeks now and my hair feels refreshed. Also, I thought the whole process was simple and timely. My initial consultation was quick and efficient, I received my initial products within the same week, and I can easily manage my subscription. I have had seborrheic dermatitis for years and nothing has really helped much. I got the bundle with the Essential Solution and the Max Control Shampoo, which has truly been a game changer for my scalp. Very simple to use and a very easy process. I didn't experience any irritation from using the shampoo or the solution. Just some tingling which I expected from a medicated shampoo. The smell wasn't overbearing as some medicated shampoos are. It was such a relief to see flakiness and irritation fade away within just a few uses, and I loved that the results keep improving over time. Thanks!
Great products
I bought the shampoo and oil combo. Both products seem to be working well and they smell good. I think the oil will last forever, so that's a must buy. The shampoo is also pretty good, but a relatively small bottle (I imagine I'll need a new one every month or so). The shampoo also needed a good shake before use, it does say that on the bottle but it's not obvious and you really notice the difference. All in, very good and would recommend.
Outstanding product that really works!
I've struggled with dandruff for a while, and this medication made a noticeable difference within the first week. My scalp feels cleaner, less itchy, and the flakes are almost gone. Easy to use and much more effective than other products I've tried, highly recommend!
